I coveted this frog for 2 years before I let myself buy him. Isn’t he a dork?
I have been busy around the yard lately. Everything is coming up and I am starting to become nostalgic for Fall. Soups, canning, crocheting, reading, spiced cider, the smell of the air turned cool. MMMmmmmm. My favorite.
Here is some lovin’, from my house ta yers. (Paula Deen’s voice)
I love these fowers because they are weird looking. Someone said that it is an African daisy. I’m not sure.
I bought the giant ones by mistake. This one is more than ten feet tall.
The Schmeard or “Schmeardkins Kincaid” She’s 15, older than my daughter. I tell her I love her everyday. 🙂
This is a Desert Rose. It is an adenuim, in the oleander family, but the root ball is bonsaied. He’s blooming because it has been hot.
That’s my beautiful daughter. I just wanted to show her off. Yes, it is a picture of a picture.
My chili plants are all just dripping with peppers.
Habeneros.
Uh, oh… Look who got ripe?
Newton the Maine coon, AKA “Big Kitty” or “Bigs” He has kitty herpes in his left eye. He was born with it. We don’t talk about it because it embarasses him.
Basil, laveder and majoram.
The beginnings of basil oil, another great way to savor the fresh basil.
Another way to harvest basil and save it, without having to dry it.
Drying small batches of basil.
Cecil, AKA “Dash”, AKA “Thunder”. % years old and missing two teeth, one on top in the middle and one on the bottom in the middle. Dorky.
A vertebrae I found on the beach in California.
More fruit… My plants are all about 6 feet tall, these cages are about four feet.
Annnnnd more fruit..
More fruit..
This is a pic of what all my hard work runing accomplishes. A TON of fruit.
My biggest tomato this year
Another big one..
Zoe, Zoe Pretty Bird, birdie birdie birdie… Or Zoebirda. He’s a boy, don’t call him a lady…
My jade plant.

That first flower looks like an alien flower! Love Schmeard! Such a cutie, but don’t tell the others I said that.
She’s my honey. She knows she’s a princess! One leg is grey and one is orange 🙂 ps I read a blog yesterday that said pregnant woman are selling their positive preg tests on Craigslist. You should stock up!
What amazing crops! I am impressed. We are drowning in vegetables and fruit here, especially courgettes (zucchini) and beans. I think your flower is a form of osteospermum?
Thank you! I worked hard! i think you are right, it IS an osteospermum. It’s a really weird looking flower but it looks cute. My friend just gave me some zucchini that is the size of small child, hahah. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
